Yoga in the Mountains

Experience a new way of being, eating and breathing at the Gstaad Palace, in the midst of the unspoilt alpine setting. In cooperation with London’s leading members-only club Grace Belgravia, at the hotel they are running a 6-day retreat Yoga in the Mountains.

Grace’s expert Yoga therapists will be teaching three different types of yoga to balance the body and mind through movement, meditation and sound. Each day there will be five sessions of exercise and activities combining Vinyasa Yoga, a breathing, moving meditation, flowing in and out of posture with awareness and breath, as well as Pranayama Kriya Yoga which is a series of physical actions and breathing patterns specifically orchestrated to work on systems of the body such as your digestive system.

A visit to the hammam at the Gstaad Palace is a unique experience offering a relaxing journey of approximately two hours. It consists of a harmonious sequence of seven steps over 130 m2.
This special ritual begins with a soothing footbath followed by calm, soothing moments in the infinity room.

Afterwards a cleansing soap foam body massage awaits the visitor, and subsequently the journey continues with a steam bath and a dip in the flotation pool. After a break in the private relaxation room, a hydrating oil massage completes this amazing experience.

Pilates Studio

During the ski season it is essential to take some time to cross-train in order to avoid injury and ensure a more enjoyable skiing experience. Regular Pilates sessions play an important role in minimising the wear and tear that skiing inflicts on the body. The benefits that you obtain by practising Pilates can also be translated to the ski slopes, improving your performance.

Pilates serves to combat the stress of skiing.

The Gstaad Pilates Studio is managed by Natasha Lutz, who offers private lessons and instruction in small groups. Special Stott Pilates equipment is used, and the Galileo vibration technology is incorporated.

Whether you enjoy the pleasant village atmosphere or a great variety of activities, the region of Gstaad will make your holiday dreams come true.
