Aqua’s open-air yoga deck overlooks the ocean, adding to the serenity of your yoga experience. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, you’ll enjoy our group yoga classes taught by experts, or you can arrange for individual yoga sessions. They also offer special Yoga retreats throughout the year.
Yoga Platform: Secluded 1,100 sq. ft. yoga platform has hardwood floors and is open on four sides and covered by a palm-thatched “palapa” roof.Yoga classes can accommodate up to 30 students, and the guests are offered complimentary use of eco-friendly yoga mats, yoga straps, yoga blankets and wooden yoga blocks. Whether stretching, flowing, or meditating, guests can enjoy and absorb the energy from the yoga platform’s spectacular ocean view for a yogi’s dream sattvic (harmonious) experience.
Meditation
Like an ancient Asian monastery built deep in a forest, Aqua Wellness Resort is a serene, natural setting that inspires one to disconnect from the world and reconnect with one’s inner self. Your own private treehouse deck is a perfect spot for meditation, lulled by the sounds of the waves and the forest.

Spa
The spa features one single and one couples’ treatment room, both with showers, and open-air ocean views that take relaxation to the next level.
Spa treatments range from pedicures, facials and massages, to signature treatments that utilize organic local ingredients. Among the most popular signature treatments at Aqua are the “Organic Cacao Body Polish,” a scrub using Nicaraguan cocoa beans, yogurt and honey, which leaves the skin feeling as soft as silk; the invigorating “Mombacho Massage,” named for one of Nicaragua’s many volcanoes; the “Aqua Envelopment Body Treatment,” which uses warm volcanic clay; and the “Smoothie Body Polish,” a scrub using enzyme-rich tropical fruits.
Food
Aqua’s open-air beachfront restaurant serves healthy cuisine with contemporary flair and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.Thy source hormone-free meats and organic produce from local farmers, and each morning select fish from the daily catch of fishermen in Gigante, less than a mile away. The coffee and espresso are made with organic Nicaraguan coffee beans.
Start your day with one of the fresh-squeezed tropical juices or smoothies, such as the “Funky Monkey,” which is made with orange juice, banana, cashew nuts and cocoa nibs. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menus feature American and international dishes, everything from fish tacos and pasta to pad Thai, as well as “typico” Nicaraguan specialties such as ceviche, gallo pinto and churrasco (Nicaraguan BBQ). The chef is always happy to prepare special vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free dishes upon request.
